Day 1: arrival and transfer to your guesthouse
Le Somail is a pretty hamlet crossed by the Canal du Midi (canal water way) and offering a charming setting that makes you feeling a journey through time.

An American President in Le Somail:
Thomas Jefferson, third President of the United States of America, was one of the first tourists to fall under the spell of Le Somail. Today, a plaque commemorates his visit.
18h: Welcome drink in Le Somail with a glass of wine & little snacks (this is included in the price)
Day 2
Enjoy the zenitude at the Canal du Midi during our boating tour from Le Somail to Paraza.
10h: We pick you up at Le Somail port. Once on board, we move forward through our cute enchanting hamlet Le Somail. We wish you to enjoy during this 2hours boating tour from Le Somail to Paraza with explanation about the history of the Canal du Midi and the Minervois wine appelation.
12.30h - 13.30h: Lunch at the port restaurant
14h - 15h30: Visit Château Paraza with an individual wine tasting.
16h - 18h: getting lazy and relax while we bring you back with our boat; just letting the soul swing freely
Day 3
After breakfast we will bring you by car to Carcassonne where you have time to discover this magical medieval town. In this historical and cultural scene, you may be transported back into the Middle Ages, dreaming of brave knights and enchanted princesses.
Lunch at your own expenses
16h: visit Assignan a cute little village invites you dreaming of a sweet life in Southern France and you will be introduced in the winemaking of the AOP Saint-Chinian wine appellation.
18h30: Tapas, wine & music in Bizes-Minervois
Day 4
Visit the 9 locks in Béziers a cleverly thought-out geniuses project which allow boats to raise a level of 21,5m over a distance of 300m on the Canal du Midi and discover the Oppidum landscape
12h30 - 14h: Lunch in a local restaurant
14h30 - 16h: Discover one of the most important Gallic village in Southern France, the Oppidum landscape, an archaeological Celtic site with a unique panorama over the Languedoc plain.
16h30: back to your guesthouse and time to say goodbye.
Depending from your flight back to Germany, we can bring you to a train station or airport nearby Toulouse, Perpignan or Montpellier.
