Day 1: arrival and transfer to your guesthouse
Le Somail is a pretty hamlet crossed by the Canal du Midi (canal water way) and offering a charming setting that makes you feeling a journey through time.

You can follow in the Tourism Office the interpretation of Mrs. Cradock, who will tell you about her Royal trip along the Canal du Midi back in the eighteenth century.
An American President in Le Somail:
Thomas Jefferson, third President of the United States of America, was one of the first tourists to fall under the spell of Le Somail. Today, a plaque commemorates his visit.

Day 2
After breakfast we will bring you by car to Carcassonne where you have time to discover this magical medieval town. In this historical and cultural scene, you may be transported back into the Middle Ages, dreaming of brave knights and enchanted princesses.
Lunch at your own expenses
16h: visit Château Guilhem where you will meet the owner Bertrand Gourdou which is winemaker in the 5th generation and very proud to present you his winery and introduce you in the winemaking of the AOP Malepère wine appellation.
18h - 20h: Cooking Show with a Chef - food & wine pairings during the evening.
Day 3
Visit the 9 locks in Béziers and discover the Oppidum landscape
13h: Lunch at the Vinauberge restaurant
16h: back to our guesthouse and time to say goodbye.
Depending from your flight back to Germany, we can bring you to a train station or airport nearby Toulouse, Perpignan or Montpellier.
